Sunset at Lake Powell's Alstrom Point
After a long & arduous journey high above Monument Valley we reached our destination; Hunts Mesa. I do believe that everyone was in agreement once we caught a glimpse of the view before us that it simply doesn't get much better than this.
Due to the cloudy skies & absence of the sun for most of my recent trip to Canyonlands National Park I tried to get creative not only in composition but in B&W photography as well. While standing on the ledge of a 1400 foot canyon the clouds opened very briefly and I found this composition rather interesting.
