A vivid sunset in the Great Smoky Mountains complete with sun rays.
I have fallen in love with Lake Tahoe...... The vibrant sunsets, snow capped mountains, pine trees, and the sound of waves crashing.... What's not to love?
As the last bit of light filters out of the canyon the landscape takes on a different tone. I borrowed the title from the 1959 jazz album "Kind Of Blue" from Miles Davis. It was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the scene. Much like the album, it has a "blue" feel but it also has other layers to it.
